The story of how this poster came to manifest is actually quite interesting. When I first saw the contest on creativeallies.com I was a little hesitant to enter as I know there is a certain amount of time and energy needed to create a mindblowing poster ..especially for Bassnectar on New Years Eve for that matter. Not to mention my computer had recently caught the black screen of death and was being repaired by apple. But being such a big fan/believer of Lorin’s music I still felt compelled to enter. I remembered coming across a photograph by Joshua Brott that I also felt was quite timeless and spoke towards the “New Year” theme/contest requirements; for example, beginnings and endings, the passing of time, personal change or looking back through time on a different self.
